The Company

Eurotunnel holds the Concession until 2086 for the Channel Tunnel, the fastest, easiest, most reliable and environmentally friendly transport system for crossing the Channel. Eurotunnel operates and directly markets a Passenger Shuttle service which transports cars, coaches and other tourist vehicles as well as a Truck Shuttle service. Eurotunnel manages the transit through the Channel Tunnel of high speed trains for passengers and rail freight trains from rail operators.

Since 1994, more than 360 million passengers and 70 million vehicles (including 23 million trucks) have used the Channel Tunnel becoming a vital link between the United Kingdom and continental Europe.

Eurotunnel employs 3,336 people (of which 27% are based in the UK) at 31 December 2016.
